We have received several inquiries regarding the current paving project currently underway here on Valley Drive.  As most have noted the no parking signs went up and then down and then up again.  The City has informed us that the work currently being done is Phase 1, Martha Custis and Valley back up to the inter section of Gunston and Valley and then onto the upper intersection of Preston and Valley.  This work is on schedule of completion by August 26th (weather permitting). The crews will return tomorrow to begin to mill the remainder of Phase 1.  That will be followed by the paving. The Phase 2 part Preston/Valley up to the intersection of Gunston/Valley and Martha Custis will be completed later this fall.  We will provide updates going forward as they become available.
